Our processes factor in environmental concerns, quality standards and social responsibility. For this reason, we have teamed up with inloom®; who prioritise sustainable product sourcing, evaluating the environmental impact of the textiles and ensuring we all share the same commitments.
inloom® continuously take steps to strengthen their sustainable performance both across products and business operations. Integral to this are the suppliers they have chosen to collaborate with, working together to ensure we can offer products with a long service life and are recyclable.
Their manufacturing process produces 55% of its own energy via photovoltaic solar panels, and utilises hydroelectric power for another 20%, meaning 75% of energy used at their manufacturing plant derives from renewable energy sources.
What is Fabric Wall?
Stretched fabric systems are made up of 3 elements; a track system, our recycled polyester acoustic core and a fabric finish. Our track is made form UPVC and is fully recyclable.
What is the Acoustic Core?
Soundspace® SpaceCore™ is a Recycled Acoustic Core, made from PET bottle-flake. It is inherently durable, resistant to mould and is safe, non-toxic, non-irritant and non-allergenic. Polyester is not affected by moisture, mould or mildew and will not rot or deteriorate in intended use situations.
Our core is Fire Rated to B s2 d0, with a long life span it can be fully recycled back into PET to contribute to a closed loop life cycle.
What is Sustainable Fabric?
With inloom® we can offer their full range of OKEO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and EU Ecolabel fabrics to complete our 3 elements of Sustainable Fabric Walling. The fabrics highlight our commitment to providing a choice of colour and technical innovation in our textile offerings. The fabric choices include modern neutrals and contemporary colours, as well as duotone yarns and soft chenille. The collection features an abundance of designs, tones and structures, underpinned by the practical requirements of durability and flame retardancy.
The majority of inloom® fabrics are produced from 100% polyester, the mono-material approach makes the recycling process easier and allows them to support and ensure the closed-loop recycling system in the textile industry.
